Hello! I’m Stacy Olinger and my journey is one shaped by resilience, self-discovery, and a deep-rooted passion for transforming healthcare. Growing up in the vast wilderness of Alaska, I developed a love for adventure and an innate capacity for wonder and awe,—the majestic mountains, rugged bike trails, and the serenity of open water.

From Alaskan to Healthcare Executive:

As I ventured into the professional realm, my career was initially steered by a drive for achievement and excellence. I thrived in the healthcare sector, from home care aide to nurse to C-suite healthcare executive in healthcare systems.

My dedication to work and a relentless pursuit of perfection took a toll on my health. I was in perpetual motion, driven by a need to achieve more, do more, and be more.

A Moment of Transformation:

My journey wasn't always about accolades and achievements. There were twists and turns—moments that recalibrated my perspective.  My body and mind reached a breaking point, not once but three times over six years, urging me to pause and reevaluate.

Each time was a pivotal moment—a moment that ignited a personal transformation, a shift from 'doing' to 'being’.  Each was a progressive realization that my worth wasn't defined by what I achieved.  The final transformational moment shifted my focus from doing to being, from my identity tied to roles to a deeper connection with my essence.  This shift not only reshaped my personal journey but also redefined my approach to healthcare leadership.

My career is a testament to my commitment to transforming healthcare. Having held influential positions in prominent healthcare organizations like BJC Health System and EvergreenHealth & Virginia Mason, my leadership journey has been about driving change, innovation, and sustainable growth. 

My expertise spans clinical realms, strategic operations, and technological advancements. I've honed a skill set that merges clinical insights with strategic foresight and financial acumen, bridging the gap between technology and operations.  From orchestrating system-wide palliative care programs to implementing cutting-edge AI and EHR solutions, my focus has always been on patient-centered care, financial sustainability, and fostering a culture of excellence.  Achieving a 55% operating margin boost and a 30% surge in patient satisfaction underlines my commitment to excellence in healthcare leadership.
